Heading up the BAS division at Vantage Consulting
The Controls Installer/Technician will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning building automation systems, with a focus on Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and HVAC integration. Key responsibilities
Installing DDC controllers and related components Performing low‑voltage wiring, including conduit installation Installing DDC sensors (e.g., temperature, pressure sensors) Troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning BMS and HVAC systems Reading and interpreting mechanical plans and wiring diagrams Coordinating work with other trades (e.g., electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers) Documenting work performed and procedures followed Adhering to project timelines and required processes Working on active construction sites while following all safety protocols At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with DDC systems Strong understanding of HVAC and building automation systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with construction site safety standards Preferred qualifications
Experience with Automated Logic controllers and WebCTRL software Technical certifications in HVAC, electrical, or controls systems Seniority level:
