The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of contract field service technicians and CA technicians. The Supervisor makes recommendations to the Field Service Manager regarding departmental activities aligned with the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.” Pay Rate:

$46.00 - $58.19 per hour. Pay rate is dependent upon education and experience. Essential Functions

Oversees all assigned technician direct reports. Collaborates with office staff to improve and maintain processes and procedures. Works with the office to efficiently open, close and invoice work orders. Works with Coordinators on PIP completion to meet Caterpillar standards. Oversees warranty work order preparation and completion from technicians. Technician Supervisors will be made available for their direct reports that are on call. Maintains safe housekeeping and safety in work areas. First point of contact for accidents; ensures forms are filled out and submitted timely. Works with Coordinators on achieving CAT standards for on-time completion. Works with Fleet Department to ensure DOT/CDL compliance. Maintains updated tool inventory in coordination with Risk Management and keeps a current copy on hand. Collaborates with Parts Admin/Parts Clerk to fulfill back orders promptly. Maintains meaningful relationships with internal and external customers. Assists coordinators with scheduling and dispatching technicians. Ensures purchase orders are received before scheduling service work. Acts as first point of contact for customer disputes and strives for high customer satisfaction regarding quality and invoicing. Ensures technicians have minimum safety training, PPE, tooling, and, when possible, additional safety resources. Creates technician development plans aligned with goals and aspirations. Ensures technicians have the correct tooling and parts when needed to work efficiently. Basic understanding of Caterpillar equipment line. Works with Service Manager to meet or exceed Service Excellence metrics. All other duties as assigned by manager. Supervisory Responsibilities

Direct Reports: Field Service technicians assigned to supervisor. Collaborate with manager on timely performance reviews for direct reports. Writing quality reviews for technicians with the goal of no surprises and reviews completed on or before due date. Growing the service you are responsible for. Leadership training and training on service financials, service excellence metrics, etc. Assists manager in hiring and training Field Service Technicians. Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED 1+ year supervisory/management experience 1+ year technical or mechanical experience 3+ years customer service experience Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook Intermediate knowledge of CRM/Sales Link Intermediate knowledge of Service Link/SIS Web Advanced knowledge of DBS Physical Demands & Competencies

Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands and hearing Data entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication and math skills Ability to work safely; basic knowledge of Microsoft tools; familiarity with CRM/Sales Link and related systems Work Environment
