Monday - Friday Full Time, 40 Hours per week. First Shift, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Role Description

The purpose of this position is to perform electrical repairs, installation, and maintenance of the Department's traffic lights and highway illumination within District 2. Upon successful completion of a 2-year training period, the incumbent in this role will be evaluated and may be promoted to the target class of Qualified Craft Worker (Electrical). Responsibilities

The incumbent will perform electrical repairs, installation, and maintenance of traffic lights and highway illumination. Responsibilities include high voltage repairs, operating bucket trucks at heights, and responding to emergency duties such as snow and ice removal. Qualifications

Current and valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tank endorsement. Valid Medical Examiner's Card (MEC). 30‑mile residency from the posted job location. Willingness to accept emergency duty assignments, including snow and ice removal, and working at heights in a bucket truck. Experience working with high voltage repairs, wiring electrical circuits, and blueprint reading. Completion of an accredited electrical training program and proof of certification in electrical work. Minimum one year of experience in construction, landscaping, commercial driving, snow plowing, or maintenance of roadsides, roadways, bridges, or airports. Benefits
