We are seeking a
Maintenance Mechanic
to join our team at USG. The ideal candidate will be responsible for: Compliance with all safety and housekeeping rules. Performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, and production machines, following diagrams, manuals, and specifications. Familiarity with plant work order systems. Proficiency in using hand and power tools, cranes/hoists, rigging equipment, welders, and fall restraint systems. Collaborating effectively with team members to achieve operational goals. Participating in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives. Adapting to scheduling requirements, including shift work, overtime, and weekend shifts. Qualifications & Requirements:
Ability to perform repair and servicing tasks as assigned. Willingness to work the scheduled shifts. Understanding of plant and departmental safety rules and standards. Physical capability to meet the position's requirements, including negotiating steps and ladders. Consistent attendance and punctuality. Ability to understand verbal and written instructions and perform tasks efficiently. Maintaining personal tools as specified. Hourly Salary: $25.29. Compensation may be adjusted based on qualifications and experience.
