Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Mechanical & Piping Insulators to join our self-perform team for ongoing work at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base. This role involves applying insulating materials to mechanical systems, ductwork, and piping to control and maintain temperature, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards. Pay: $30-45 per hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with match Key Responsibilities

Apply insulating materials to mechanical systems, ductwork, and piping to control and maintain temperature Utilize appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure efficiency and safety Collaborate with team members to meet project milestones and quality standards Adhere to all safety protocols and implement best practices in support of RQ Construction's Mission, Vision, and Values Education & Experience Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimum education required Completion of a Union, private (in-house), military, or trade school apprenticeship program preferred 4 or more years of field or trade work experience as a journey-level mechanical piping insulator in a commercial, or facilities operations setting; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred Competitive hourly rates, commensurate with experience.
