Overview
Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. Responsible for safe, expeditious, and accurate performance of routine preventive maintenance tasks as per daily schedule in and around the facility.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Maintain all plant equipment including high volume industrial washers and dryers.
Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
Perform basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
Troubleshoot technical issues by following technical manuals and schematics.
Order necessary parts, tools and equipment following company procurement policy.
Maintain a proper daily schedule control for equipment maintenance.
Conduct daily removal and processing of waste solids from treatment process.
Perform equipment troubleshooting, make necessary repairs, and complete preventive maintenance and housekeeping practices for all related wastewater hardware.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment; observe best practices in all production activities.
Use safety precautions, follow lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, and adhere to all safety and boiler, wastewater treatment procedures.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
Familiar with standard maintenance procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, and proper safety techniques.
Basic knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and required codes.
Ability to comprehend and perform all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet attendance schedule; work is based on a shift schedule and may include weekends.
Overtime required as needed.
Working Environment / Safety Requirements
Work performed in a high‑volume production warehouse setting; regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold, dust, and noise.
Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
Requires ability to move, lift, carry, push or pull items weighing up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Requires bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, twisting and lifting.
Requires use of hands for grasping and other manipulations.

Must be able to work from elevated heights using ladders, mezzanines, and aerial lifts.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
3‑5 years of maintenance experience.
