Goodyear Retread Tire Production Associate
As a member of our retread team, you will play a role in recapping, remolding, or extending the life of an existing tire to get it back on the road. In our retread plants you will have the opportunity to support the retread process through various stages.
Inspect the tires to assess if they can be retread
Buff the casing to remove any worn tread
Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing
Using rubber cement or a patch, repair the casing before applying new tread
Build the tire by applying new tread
Cure the tire to mold the retread application
Final inspection to assess a safe and quality product

Basic Requirements
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing environment, general labor, entry level.
