Provide technical support of specialized systems and product applications including advanced troubleshooting of software driven electronics, provisioning of communication system infrastructure and performance optimization of RF and Broadband architecture including, but not limited to, legacy analog, advanced digital P25 and data infrastructure. Responsibilities

Maintain, optimize, test, document and support complex communications systems. Perform preventative maintenance routines to ensure proper system operation with focus on trend analysis and documentation of results. Develop solutions to difficult technical problems encountered as part of system maintenance, upgrades or support issues. Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Sales, and Customer Service to maintain, optimize and support advanced communication systems that meet or exceed customer expectations. Deliver strong knowledge of wired communications systems (LAN/WAN) and experience with logging/recording systems, RF interfaces, and networking equipment. Demonstrate a combination of RF communications system and computer/networking skills. Provide weekly reports of activities and accomplishments. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Motorola Radio Programming Software suite. Maintain server hardware/OS and software infrastructure and troubleshoot to resolve system/application issues. Demonstrate self-management and strong interpersonal skills to work with customers, MSS, Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Customer Service teams. Work with limited supervision and handle customer problems in stressful situations. Working Knowledge and Experience

Working knowledge of communications test equipment including Communication System Analyzers, Ethernet Link test sets, T1 Test Sets, TIMS, and Digital RF Power Meter. Experience with Motorola Conventional, SmartNet, MCC Console systems, Secure Operations and ASTRO A7.x Digital systems and installation procedures. Minimum 3+ years of related experience with equipment such as Motorola Base Stations, MCC consoles, Channel Banks, T1 Circuits, and computer IP networks; experience with RF Infrastructure Technologies (SmartZone, SmartNet, ASTRO) preferred. Ideally one network certification: Network+, Security+, or CCNA. Candidate Requirements

Proficient in computer network installation, configuration and maintenance (cabling, routers, switches, firewalls, bridges). Capable of maintaining server hardware/OS and software infrastructure and troubleshooting. Strong RF knowledge (transmitters, receivers, antenna networks) and familiarity with standard telephony and dedicated data circuits. Experience with one of the following: P25, LMR, SmartNet, SmartZone, RF infrastructure, ASTRO systems, radios and consoles. Excellent communication skills and professional presentation. Current, valid driver’s license and no traffic violations; ability to obtain background clearance as required by government customers. Location and Travel

Local travel within Arkansas; must live within commutable distance to public safety customers in Arkansas. Frequent travel throughout the state with approximately 10% or less overnight travel. On-call rotations to support outages in the territory, 24/7, weekends, holidays. This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the CJIS Security Policy and requires a fingerprint background check. Compensation

Target Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 USD. Pay varies based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Benefits
