Fives Position Summary: This position is responsible for providing various demonstration and service requirements on company-manufactured equipment in various locations under general instructions. Note: Residents of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware preferred. Responsibilities

Install, demonstrate, qualify, repair, or alter independently Fives machines (mechanically, electrically, and CNC) or associated equipment in customer facilities. Perform these duties following verbal or written instructions from Tech Support, Service Coordinator, or Service Manager, or using information contained in drawings, service documentation, or other user documentation. Operate machines and related equipment in customer facilities to demonstrate or qualify equipment, or observe qualification runs conducted by customer personnel. Ensure machine accuracy and quality align with specifications. Notify Tech Support or Service Coordinator when deviations from specifications occur or problems are encountered. Write complete service reports by procedure. Instruct customer personnel to operate, maintain, and/or repair machines and equipment, emphasizing safety precautions. Notify customer of any unsafe operating practices observed. Provide input for improvement and development of company products. Maintain regular and predictable attendance; may require overtime or off-shifts as needed. Travel on the road a majority of the time to visit customers and/or vendors, nationally and internationally. Qualifications

Education/Certification: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent; two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a passport and credit card. Ability to read and understand international print symbols. ISO 9001 & 14001 awareness and compliance. Experience: Ability to use general hand tools. Skills: Strong ability to read, analyze, and communicate technical information; ability to write reports and manuals; ability to present information to groups. Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software. Positive attitude, neat appearance, and effective communication with customers. Willingness to engage in a positive, interactive manner and maintain a high-quality standard in service delivery. Physical & Work Environment

Regularly required to use hands; frequent lifting up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting over 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities include color vision. May involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, high places, fumes, weather, electrical risk, and noise.
