Process Engineers , both junior and senior, to join their growing team!
Located in the beautiful Hayesville, NC.
Will pay for relocation!
In this role, you’ll focus on
optimizing manufacturing processes , improving product quality, reducing waste, and ensuring compliance with
UL, ISO , and other industry standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for a
process‑driven engineer
who is passionate about
continuous improvement, innovation, and driving operational excellence
in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
Develop, refine, and standardize extrusion processes to improve line efficiency and product consistency across multiple facilities.
Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.
Recommend equipment, tooling, and material improvements to support growth and efficiency.
Support Material & Equipment Improvements
Work with thermoplastics such as PVC, XLPE, PE, and TPE to support material trials and qualifications.
Specify and maintain extrusion equipment through preventive maintenance programs.
Ensure Quality & Compliance
Validate extrusion parameters and finished product specifications including insulation thickness and concentricity.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement solutions for quality issues.
Ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.
Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve throughput, reduce variation, and eliminate waste.
Develop and implement standardized procedures and training for production teams.
Partner with R&D, quality, maintenance, and operations teams to launch new products and scale production.
Support new product introductions with strong process design and validation.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience with
compound extrusion and cable manufacturing processes .
Strong knowledge of thermoplastics, extrusion equipment, and quality systems.
Hands‑on problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
Experience leading Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
