Voith Paper is hiring for: Millwright. West Monroe, LA. The position is on 2nd or 3rd shift with pay range $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. Experience in setups and practices used in working on large equipment. Set up, disassemble / reassemble, inspect, and repair small, medium, and large paper machine rolls. Maintain Voith Paper quality standards in an efficient and safe manner; knowledge of repair practices needed. Work with mechanical tooling, drills, taps, pullers, bearing heaters, presses, hydraulic test unit. Familiar with the operation of mechanical assemblies and knowledge of different roll types used in the manufacturing operation of paper machines and related equipment. Experience using overhead cranes (100 and 60 ton). Be dependable with good attendance and willing to work overtime when required; shift work may be required. Be willing to learn and perform other tasks as necessary. Requirements
Experienced industrial/heavy equipment mechanic OR A trainee who exhibits the requirements as detailed under general responsibilities. High School Diploma preferred but not required if experience level offsets this requirement. Don’t meet every single requirement but think you would be a good fit for our team?
