Position Description:

The position is for a CAD/BIM Tech (BIM Modeler) in a multi-discipline 50+ person AE firm that specializes in a wide variety of medium scale commercial building projects with an emphasis on projects on military bases. The position requires someone who is outgoing, personable, professional, ambitious, and enjoys working in a multi-discipline AE environment. The candidate should be eager to work with various individuals, meet deadlines, produce quality work, and grow their career by taking on more responsibilities. Primary Responsibilities:

Support all discipline team members involved in document production using the latest releases of Revit. Develop architectural Revit BIM models for working drawings. Develop documents and information related to Revit and BIM such as PXP, M3, COBie, CHX, Process Maps, etc. Perform clash detections using ACC Model Coordination and Navisworks, and coordinate with team members to resolve clashes. Create rendered models in Revit for presentations. Review working models and PDFs for quality control compliance with company standards. Assist in producing and compiling working drawings for deliverables. Coordinate daily with various disciplines to resolve project issues. Assist outside firms with project setup, deliverable requirements, and modeling compliance on multi-firm projects. Minimum Qualifications:

Five years' experience developing architectural Revit BIM models for commercial projects, with a good understanding of multidisciplinary model integration. Proficient in the latest releases of Revit and knowledgeable about Autodesk BIM tools. Ability to link multiple Revit models via Shared Coordinates and use AutoCAD Survey data. Experience with Bluebeam Revu for collaboration. Ability to pass a background check for access to military bases. Willingness to travel occasionally with overnight stays. Exceptional interpersonal skills focusing on communication, teamwork, and collaboration. Ability to manage tasks across multiple projects independently and efficiently. Desire to learn, accept feedback, and build professional relationships. Strong work ethic with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to interpret and recreate architectural and engineering drawings in Revit with minimal errors. Additional Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Windows 10, SketchUp, 3D Studio Max, AutoCAD (beneficial). Experience with U.S. Armed Services or military base projects. Construction administration experience. Experience or aptitude in Dynamo scripting and Python for automation and API interaction. Ability to understand and model disciplines outside of Architecture, such as Structural or Mechanical. Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate should understand how Revit is used in producing documents and information for commercial design and construction. Knowledge of modeling practices for other disciplines, especially structural and mechanical, is beneficial. The candidate should be a self-starter with excellent time management skills, capable of handling routine and complex tasks, and able to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
