Construction Project Manager
to oversee government capital projects, with an emphasis on commercial building renovations, new construction, and quality control for a government agency here in West Palm Beach.
This role requires a detail-oriented and knowledgeable professional with extensive experience in project administration, contract management, and collaboration with design professionals, including architects and engineers. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large-scale projects, including those valued at multiple millions of dollars.
Key Responsibilities for
Construction Project Manager
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of government construction projects, focusing on capital improvements, interior renovations, and new building construction.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful, on-time project delivery within scope.
Lead contract management efforts, including negotiation, administration, and enforcement of project contracts.
Collaborate closely with design professionals, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
Coordinate and supervise all on-site activities and ensure that construction practices meet safety, compliance, and quality standards.
Conduct quality control assessments throughout the project lifecycle to maintain high standards and address any deficiencies.
Manage project risks and resolve issues promptly to prevent delays or budget overruns.
Prepare and present project status reports to government clients and stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory and safety requirements throughout the project.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum [insert years] of experience in construction project management, with a focus on government capital projects.
Demonstrated expertise in contract.
Proven experience managing large-scale projects, including those valued at several million dollars.
