18.00-22.00 + fast track promotion after 90 days for motivated candidates, along with ongoing training to promote your career path. You will gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by utilizing a mechanical aptitude to diagnose technical issues while delivering outstanding service. Learn about brakes, alignments, and the rapidly changing automotive industry while providing high-quality guest care. Demonstrate guest service through clear communication and feedback on guest vehicles. Document all work performed on the repair order and promote teamwork to deliver timely, accurate guest care during all operating hours. Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation and perform a variety of manual tasks, including lifting heavy tires and wheels, as needed. What you will learn / About the Role
How to perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation. Provide guidance and mentoring to junior automotive technicians and demonstrate excellent guest service. Document work, report safety issues to management, and support teamwork to meet service goals. Develop skills across general automotive repair and diagnostics, with opportunities for fast track career advancement. Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred ASE Certification Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests Experience in electrical, air conditioning, and primary/advanced fuel ignition About Goodyear
