As Preconstruction Manager, you will support project teams throughout the preconstruction process, driving budgeting, estimating, scheduling, value analysis and design management for all types of delivery methods. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Support project teams throughout the preconstruction process including budgeting, estimating, scheduling, value analysis and design management for all types of delivery methods. Assist in project pursuit, strategies and techniques. Prepare bid schedules to determine project costs. Work closely with the design team during development to control project costs. Provide technical support in negotiating contracts and change orders. Consult with clients, vendors, project team, and construction foreman to discuss and formulate estimates. Review construction documents and understand scope of work for bidding. Review final estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to formal quotation. Assist marketing/business development team by providing cost opinion support as needed. Update and maintain estimating system. Requirements

A four‑year degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience). Five or more years of construction estimating experience. Mechanical and electrical estimating experience is a plus. Effective negotiation, team building, problem‑solving, mathematical and analytical skills. Exceptional organization skills and keen attention to detail, deadlines and accuracy. Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Strong conceptual estimating capabilities. Ability to coordinate activities on "bid day". Valid driver’s license required.
