PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR SELMA, AL As a member of the manufacturing team, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all manufacturing related functions associated with the seating operation. The Production Supervisor will monitor and control scrap and labor variances to standard. The Role: Your work will include, but not be limited to: Conduct team meetings per schedule specific to job awareness, training, company policy, customer requirements, health, safety, and housekeeping. Responsible for subordinate safety compliance and training; functions as role model relative to safety and environmental issues. Interface production schedule with capacity and workforce requirements resulting in variances favorable to standard. Optimize all input resources: human, equipment and materials. Consistently abide by the employee handbook. Complete associated employee documentation in a timely manner. Coordinate processing, maintenance, Q.C., personnel, tooling, and materials as they relate to optimization of production in a timely manner. Provide daily department status report to the manufacturing manager. Additional duties as required. Your Qualifications and Skills: Minimum associate degree or bachelor’s in a related field. 1 – 3 years prior Supervisor/Leadership Experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to work flexible hours. 8D Database knowledge. Accident Investigation/On-the-job injuries experience. Bloodborne Pathogens training. Continual Improvement Process knowledge. Corrective and Preventive Action knowledge. Environmental management system overview. Fire Extinguisher training. Mathematics skills. Orientation skills. Problem Solving abilities. Product Development Process knowledge. Quality management System Overview. Right-to-Know/Hazardous Communication knowledge. Supervision skills.
