Senior Construction Manager – Cheyenne, WY Location: F.E. Warren AFB, Cheyenne, WY

Overview Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr. Salary is based on experience and will be discussed with the manager in the interview. U.S. Citizenship and the ability to pass a federal background review and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to execution and closeout.

Manage and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors; serve as primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders; communicate project progress, issues, and resolutions.

Review contract documents for schedule compliance and reasonability.

Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Implement quality control measures to meet specifications and standards.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues.

Review contractor plans and submittals for approval, including schedules, safety and quality programs, certifications, and shop drawings.

Prepare correspondence regarding contractor performance, R/EAs, RFIs, and other technical issues.

Assist with site visits and presentations to owner’s representatives.

Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to team members; oversee contract negotiations, administration, and compliance; resolve contract-related disputes.

Monitor progress of construction activities and advise the project team of potential delays.

Prepare partial and final payment estimates, verify materials on hand, and determine percent complete for lump-sum items.

Produce monthly project reports for customers.

Participate in contract modification processes; assist with scopes of work for RFPs and government estimates; review contractor proposals and prepare modification documentation.

Attend and participate in meetings with customers and contractors.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.

Minimum 10 years of Construction Project Management experience.

PMP certification is preferred.

Experience with Federal Construction projects, particularly USACE, is preferred.

Strong PM leadership ability and interpersonal/presentation skills.

Strong technical competencies to create and deliver presentation materials.
