Role Summary The
Industrial Electrical Project Manager II
will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects from start to finish. This position ensures that projects are completed
on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards . You’ll lead teams, collaborate with clients and contractors, and bring a proactive, solution‑driven approach to every project. This position offers opportunities to work on high‑impact industrial projects throughout
North Carolina , with primary operations in
Raleigh and Charlotte .
Key Responsibilities
Manage
field operations
across multiple projects of varying size and complexity
Interpret
construction documents , blueprints, and specifications to guide project execution
Oversee
purchasing and procurement
to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery of materials
Coordinate work with
owners, general contractors, construction managers, and other trades
Create, maintain, and adjust
project schedules
to meet deadlines
Track and report
labor, spending, and productivity metrics
to management
Review and approve
timesheets, expense reports, and subcontractor billing
Prepare and manage project documentation including
Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, and As‑Builts
Provide
technical support
for electrical, instrumentation, and controls systems
Promote and enforce
EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety)
compliance and awareness on site
Perform additional duties as required to ensure project success
Qualifications
✅
5+ years
of experience in electrical construction or project management
✅
Bachelor’s degree
in Engineering or Construction Management
✅
Valid North Carolina driver’s license
(required)
✅
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
✅
NC Electrical License
(not required)
✅ Proficient in
Microsoft Office (Excel & Project)
✅ Experience with
AutoCAD, Accubid, and Procore
✅ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
✅ Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
✅ Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs (reasonable accommodations available)
Location & Travel This position is based in
Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC , with regional travel required (including occasional overnight stays). ECCS supports a healthy work‑life balance and provides flexibility when possible.
Compensation & Benefits
