About the Project Engineer Our Wenatchee Engineering Team is seeking a talented Civil Project Engineer to help design and deliver impactful municipal projects in Central Washington. From roadway widening and intersection improvements to downtown revitalization, parks, trails, and water/sewer system upgrades, you will be part of work that directly benefits our communities.
At Psomas, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, working alongside engineers, planners, landscape architects, and surveyors on innovative, high-quality projects. This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise, leadership, and creativity to meaningful work.
Responsibility Highlights for our Project Engineer
Design transportation and utility-related municipal projects using Civil3D
Lead design groups, coordinate project meetings, and direct subconsultants
Provide mentorship and guidance to emerging professionals
Prepare or assist in the development of plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E)
Oversee project documentation, quantities, and cost estimates
Assign tasks and manage the work of design engineers, technicians, and administrative staff
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) license
5+ years of progressively responsible professional experience in civil engineering
Additional Qualifications
Experience with the Stormwater Management Manual for Eastern Washington (SWMMEW)
Experience preparing reports, technical designs, PS&E, schedules, and proposals
Familiarity working with local municipalities and special districts

A competitive salary! The genuinely expected range for this position is $100K - $130K/salary depending on experience Compensation may be adjusted for well qualified candidates
