Mechanical BIM / Revit Designer – HVAC & Plumbing Location : Tampa, FL Compensation : $75,000 – $125,000 (depending on experience) Industry : Commercial Mechanical Construction A leading mechanical contractor in the Southeast is seeking an experienced Mechanical BIM / Revit Designer to join its Tampa, FL team. This is a full-time opportunity to work with a reputable HVAC and plumbing contractor known for delivering high-quality mechanical systems on complex commercial and industrial projects. Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate 3D mechanical and plumbing models using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure model accuracy, constructability, and coordination. Prepare fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation for HVAC and plumbing systems. Participate in clash detection and help resolve coordination issues between disciplines. Maintain company BIM standards, workflows, and project documentation to ensure consistency and quality. Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical BIM modeling, drafting, or coordination. Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and coordinate effectively across trades.
