Requires project management skills with the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to maintain project budgets and schedules with knowledge of contract requirements. Analyzes, prepare and/or modify all aspects necessary for projects to include data, reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, aerial photographs, etc. to plan and design project. Calculates cost and determines feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data. Must learn locally approved engineering, utility and water resource requirements. Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents. Communicate effectively with fellow team members, clients, and regulatory agencies, and work as part of a team. What we're looking for:
Bachelor\'s degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field from four-year college or university. 5+ years of experience in stormwater and/or groundwater. PE License Desired or close to obtaining. Licensed Professional Engineer for State of Florida Desired. Strong written and verbal skills also required. Construction experience also preferred but not required. Familiarity with Southwest Florida land regulations is preferred but not required. Ability to effectively present information to governmental boards, public groups and/or boards of directors. Excellent driving record and valid driver\'s license is required. Sponsorship is not available for this position now or in the future.
