Electro Mechanical Assembler
Responsibilities: Read and interpret cable drawings and specifications. Use crimping tools to measure, strip, and cut cables/wires according to drawings. Assemble complex cables and sub-assemblies, including connectors, contact pins, and terminal lugs. Perform product assembly operations, including installations and component integration. Input completed assembly steps into a computer system. Work effectively with minimal instruction, following established assembly procedures. Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English. 1–3 years of experience in electronic and/or electromechanical assembly. Proficiency with basic hand tools and microscopes. Comfortable working in an ESD-safe environment (smocks, grounding straps, etc.). Capable of lifting 25–30 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent. Desirable Skills: J-STD-001 or IPC 610 soldering certification required (can be expired) Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A620 standards (certification a plus). Experience in cable assembly manufacturing, including RF coax and fiber optic cables. 3–5 years of electronic and/or electromechanical assembly experience.
