SLP responsibilities: Evaluate residents for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions that promote safety, communication, and independence
Document progress and outcomes according to regulatory and facility guidelines
Educate residents, families, and staff on strategies for improved function and safety
Collaborate with other therapy and healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care
