To provide leadership, direction, and guidance for assigned teams to function as high-performing teams. To offer expertise in team concepts, process planning, inventory control, and energy efficiency to produce quality products efficiently. Monitors air and water discharges to ensure compliance with regulations and oversees process operations for excessive use of resources. Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Establish production plans, communicate shortfalls, and identify improvement opportunities. Facilitate corrective actions for continuous improvement. Ensure timely, high-quality product output that meets customer requirements. Manage plant changeovers and adhere to the production schedule. Initiate and evaluate automation modifications for the plant. Supervise team members regarding schedules, vacations, training, and discipline. Motivate and train employees to develop technical and interpersonal skills. Conduct team meetings and After Action Reviews (AARs). Maintain records related to training, production, and inventory. Monitor key processes to improve production and quality. Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure timely equipment maintenance and supply delivery. Ensure accurate payroll timekeeping for team members. Participate in Root Cause Problem Elimination (RCPE) processes to analyze incidents and implement preventive measures. Ensure completion of assigned tasks, check sheets, reports, and documentation. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager. Required Skills and Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing, wood products, quality assurance, or related engineering. Eight to ten years of production experience in OSB or wood industry preferred. Knowledge of OSB or wood product industry equipment and processes. Strong facilitation and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple functions efficiently. We prioritize employee safety, health, and well-being.
