About the Role We’re looking for a motivated and skilled
HVAC Controls Technician
to join our growing team! An HVAC Controls Technician is responsible for programming, troubleshooting, startup, checkout, and servicing of Building Automation Systems (BAS). Key duties include configuring and optimizing system performance, diagnosing and resolving issues, and ensuring proper integration of HVAC controls. The technician will also work closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless operation and functionality of the BAS. Strong technical expertise in control systems, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently in field environments are essential for this role. If you enjoy hands‑on problem‑solving, working with advanced control systems, and seeing your work directly impact performance — this opportunity is for you. This full‑time position offers flexible scheduling, typically with 8‑hour shifts during office hours (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM).
What You’ll Do
Program, configure, and optimize Building Automation Systems (BAS).
Perform
startup, checkout, and commissioning
for new projects.
Troubleshoot control issues and resolve HVAC system integration challenges.
Conduct
point‑to‑point verification
and ensure systems meet design specifications.
Assist with field service calls during project and warranty phases.
Guide and support electrical subcontractors on project sites.
Deliver materials, monitor installations, and maintain communication with the project team.
Update and correct
manual drawings
for engineering and documentation accuracy.
Participate in the
on‑call rotation
and assist with support agreements.
Collaborate with management to develop a personalized
professional growth plan .
