Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated

Plant Senior Engineer – Assembly Product & Process

to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. This role focuses on designing, integrating, and improving manufacturing systems related to the

assembly halfshaft process . You will lead the implementation of new systems, support daily manufacturing activities, and provide troubleshooting solutions. As a key member of a multifunctional team, you will drive improvements in safety, quality, and productivity. You will also serve as a reference in your domain, including Floor to Floor (FTF) measurement and PPAP documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in automotive manufacturing or high‑volume assembly environments

Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies

Familiarity with PPAP, FMEA, and Global Assembly Standards

Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level in Engineering or a related technical field

6 to 10 years of experience in assembly of complex systems (e.g., halfshaft)

Proficiency in PLCs, visual systems (camera‑based inspection), and parameterization programs

Proven ability to work independently and guide others in technical areas

Position Overview As a Plant Senior Engineer – Assembly Product & Process, you will contribute to process design, engineering solutions, and standards specification. You will analyze and specify methods, process steps, and equipment required to continuously improve assembly systems. You will ensure alignment with Global Assembly Standards and evaluate the effectiveness of engineering specifications. Additional responsibilities include conducting inspections, managing supplier and contractor relationships, supporting change initiatives, and contributing to product and solution development.

You will be expected to adopt new technologies, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate across various teams. Key skills required include engineering design, testing, specification development, project scheduling, costing, and budgeting. This role offers the opportunity to act independently while guiding and training others, and to maintain a high level of technical expertise through continuous learning.
