Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven
Maintenance Supervisor
to lead a large team of maintenance technicians supporting
high-speed automated equipment
in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in automation, outstanding leadership skills, and a passion for driving uptime and reliability in complex production systems. You’ll be responsible for ensuring equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the maintenance team. This role supports the delivery of high-quality diagnostic products in compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of up to
100 maintenance technicians
across multiple shifts. Oversee the maintenance of
automated, high-speed production equipment
including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment issues to ensure maximum uptime. Develop and implement maintenance strategies to support production goals and reduce equipment failures. Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to support equipment upgrades, new installations, and process improvements. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, safety, and quality standards (FDA, GMP, ISO, etc.). Manage CMMS systems to schedule and track all maintenance work. Lead training and development initiatives to build technical expertise within the team. Monitor and report key maintenance metrics, including downtime, mean time to repair (MTTR), and preventive maintenance compliance. Qualifications
Required: 7+ years of maintenance experience in a
high-speed automation
or automated manufacturing environment. 3+ years of leadership experience managing large maintenance teams in a 24/7 or high-volume production setting. Proven ability to manage priorities and resources in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, PLCs, robotics, and automation controls. Experience working in
regulated industries
such as medical devices, automotive, pharmaceuticals, or food manufacturing. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related technical field. Experience with FDA or ISO 13485 regulated environments. Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Seniority level
