A Maintenance Technician who is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment to achieve the site’s business goals and objectives. What You Will Do
Working with a team of technicians to ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely. Utilize computer system for work orders. Use various mechanical test equipment (e.g., calipers). Understand or use predictive maintenance technology (e.g., ultrasound, thermography). Apply mechanical trade skills to complete daily tasks. Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Perform equipment repairs, rebuilds, and installations. Conduct root cause analyses to eliminate sources of failure in equipment. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Maintain equipment at basic conditions through CI processes and tools. Collaborate with others to ensure efficient and effective operations. What You Need
High School Education or GED Industrial Technical courses in Industrial Technology preferred Previous electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, minimum 1 year 1-4+ years’ work experience in the food manufacturing industry, with industrial electrical and mechanical repairs and technical support for industrial equipment and ancillary equipment Strong team player with good communication (written and verbal) and the ability to train others Seniority level
