Responsibilities
As our Radiology Technologist at
CHI Lisbon Health,
you will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions. Every day you could perform a variety of imaging examinations such as
x-rays, Dexa, EKGs, and CT/CAT scans. You will also need to enjoy working directly with people as you play a significant role in the patient experience. No experience? No problem, we provide training! To be successful in this role, you’ll need to understand the importance of diagnostic imaging, including knowledge of imaging workflow, patient positioning techniques, and capturing precise results for accurate diagnosis. What you'll do... Interpret clinical information efficiently to meet radiology needs of patients. Perform thorough and accurate imaging techniques, including patient positioning as per the order. Monitor radiation exposure time and activity with high sensitivity. Apply sterile techniques and safety practices for patients, team members, and yourself routinely. Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment to prevent failures, demonstrating mechanical aptitude and confidence. **$30,000 Sign-on Incentive & Relocation Assistance**
Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
New graduates are welcome! Current national registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). ND MIRT certification or willingness to obtain it.
