Support the lines in your work group. Work with Value Stream Manager, Asset care manager, TSM, Work Group Leaders, Process Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Line Technicians, Set-up Technicians, etc. to improve overall line reliability and case attainment. Pay:

Starting at $31.37/HR, based on experience Night Shift:

5:15 PM – 5:30 AM with 3 paid breaks. Schedule: Week 1:

Monday (work), Tuesday (work), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Weekend (work) Week 2:

Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (work), Thursday (work), Weekend (OFF) Week 3:

Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (work), Thursday (work), Weekend (OFF) and so on Responsibilities

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS: Diagnose faulty production and related plant equipment with minimal supervision using provided schematics, manuals, and drawings. Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems, troubleshoot electrical problems, and have a strong understanding of preventative maintenance strategies. Train others in these responsibilities. Complete setup and process the line from scratch after a changeover. Understand the functions of a lip roller and bagger so new products can run through this equipment; this will involve running trials and processing product if the product does not satisfy auxiliary equipment demands. Conduct R&D trials on the shop floor and in the Tech center Identify faulty parts and provide proper nomenclature in the form of a requisition so spares or replacements can be ordered Be knowledgeable of spare parts locations in the stores room and observe stores room withdrawal and return procedures General working knowledge of machine shop equipment Must be team-oriented with leadership qualities and capable of leading co-workers in assigned tasks Maintain necessary records and established maintenance procedures Understand and operate the SAP and RTC programs within Pactiv Maintain a clean, safe working environment Responsible for additional specific duties related to each shift as assigned by the maintenance Team Leader Work, train, and have open communication with all members of your work group team Walk story boards throughout the work group and develop action plans for resolution of repeatable failures Collaborate with other workgroup members on action items to improve line efficiency, lead line improvements, design of experiments, and projects 24/7 on-call phone support for assistance/reporting to/by team Other duties as necessary Technical Competencies

Administrative:

Demonstrates ability to accurately post data from one source to another in ERP or peripheral software systems, including but not limited to SAP, Outlook, Excel, Microsoft, etc. Communication/Teamwork: Ability to communicate effectively and work closely and productively as part of a cross-functional team Ability to create and/or exhibit an atmosphere of openness, honesty, trust, and teamwork Ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed without loss of effectiveness and composure Safety:

Ability to develop and maintain processes that are ISO compliant. Technical Knowledge:

Demonstrates advanced comprehensive knowledge of the entire process from concept to commercialization. Operate Equipment: Ability to operate motorized equipment and other peripheral equipment safely and efficiently as required Demonstrates ability to utilize standard hand tools Ability to operate basic machine shop equipment Maintenance/Repair: Demonstrates advanced mechanical aptitude and abilities Demonstrates thorough knowledge of production technological methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment in manufacturing facilities Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Three to five years of experience in a related field High school graduate required Completion of a vocational or trade school curriculum from an authorized school with a concentration in electro-mechanical courses desired Must be able to read and use precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers Speaking and presentation skills to conduct effective meetings ADA – Essential Functions

Must be able to: Work an 8–10-hour shift, standing and walking for extended periods Climb Heed safety warnings, devices, and alarms Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
