Roles And Responsibilities The purpose of this role is to perform turnkey solutions for GE Monitoring and Diagnostic products.
Perform installation/termination of all electrical conduit, SS tubing, power/communication cabling and mounting hardware from a high voltage transformer cabinet to the GE monitoring equipment.
Deliver quality onsite and remote service and support to customers.
Perform installation and service work on state‑of‑the‑art transformer monitoring equipment.
Manage installation projects, coordinating with various customer contacts and internal GE Sales and Service teams.
Perform troubleshooting and fault finding to Printed Circuit Board (PCB) level.
Liaise effectively with customers in job planning, execution, follow‑up and sales support, and internally with engineering departments, manufacturing, and Sales team.
Lead field work in compliance with EHS regulations and ensure accurate employee safety practices.
Act as a primary technical resource for on‑site work and lead in resolving engineering and product issues, providing technical direction to skilled labor while ensuring work reflects the quality standards and attention to detail of GE Energy.
Provide installation and service direction on‑site and remotely, including repairs, replacements, and rebuilds, for a range of equipment vintages, sizes, and application types.
Provide both external and internal timely, accurate, professional reports.
Audit and implement quality control requirements for on‑site repair and upgrades in compliance with Engineering and Product Department standards.
Lead schedule details, project milestones, manpower requirements, quality issues, and tools/equipment requirements to the appropriate individuals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Field Services and Maintenance).
Minimum of 1 year of basic experience in Services & On‑Site Services.
Must be willing and able to travel 80%.
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Compensation & Benefits For US based candidates* The base pay range for this position is $72,400.00 - $90,500.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This role is also eligible for overtime. This posting is expected to close on 12/31/25.
The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
