Location: Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area Salary: $120,000.00 – $155,000.00
What To Expect As a Construction Superintendent, you will manage and supervise field operations across multiple fast‑paced projects, ensuring they stay on budget and on schedule. You will handle rapid changes, oversee the entire project lifecycle from design to completion, and work in Austin to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate and supervise all on‑site construction activities & subcontractors
Develop electrical execution plans and schedules for data center projects to anticipate challenges and mitigate risk
Ensure frequent communication with key project individuals, job site personnel, and Project Manager
Drive work activities to meet the project schedule, remove constraints, and elevate construction issues to management
Develop and communicate logistic plans for material, equipment, and manpower
Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing applicable state and OSHA regulations
Schedule and support quality control inspections, commissioning activities, and site safety inspections
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of electrical, control, and network construction experience. Mechanical experience is a plus
Previous experience as a Superintendent on industrial facility construction, brownfield construction, building renovation, or tenant improvement projects
Ability to work within a high‑performance, cross‑functional organization with tight timelines and aggressive goals
OSHA 30 certification, NFPA 70E certification, Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to be certified
Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and environmental regulations
Thorough understanding of construction design documents and ability to provide constructability feedback prior to and during construction
Thorough understanding of NFPA 70E and NEC code requirements
