We're seeking an Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting. The role requires a professional approach, adherence to specifications, and a passion for learning and growth. Responsibilities
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications and local, state, and national codes. Connect wire to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Test electrical systems, equipment, or fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps. Inspect electrical systems for hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment, ensuring compliance with codes. Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine wiring or equipment locations, ensuring conformance to building and safety codes. Place conduit, pipes, or tubing inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, pulling insulated wires through conduit to complete circuits between boxes. Direct, train, or lead crew members to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Safely use various types of man lifts and hand/power tools, working from ladders, scaffolds, or at heights above 25 feet. Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills and attentiveness to detail. Represent I.C.E. Contractors with a professional appearance and conduct at all times. Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 3–5 years of experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of low‑voltage systems. Ability to work independently without direct supervision. Must pass a drug test, background check, and maintain a clean driving record for the last three years. Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation. Experience operating man lifts and working at various heights. A passion for the electrical trade. Preferred
Completion of a Technical or Trade School in the Electrical Trade or similar. Experience attending trainings at Tennessee Valley Training Center (TVTC). OSHA 10 and/or 30 certification. Benefits
