Bridge Inspection Team Leader
to join our
Mid Atlantic team
based in
Springfield, VA .
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform on-site safety inspections of bridges and culverts.
Lead a team of inspectors during field inspections.
Coordinate inspections, personnel, vendors, stakeholders, and traffic management.
Operate access equipment and other tools for inspections.
Review and update inspection reports.
Develop repair recommendations.
Review structural analysis data.
What You Need To Have
Experience in conducting field inspections and preparing reports, with a strong knowledge of NBIS. Excellent writing and communication skills are required.
Completion of NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges course with refresher within the last 5 years.
Minimum 5+ years in bridge inspections, including at least 1 year as a qualified NBIS Team Leader.
Willingness to travel locally (50%).
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred: NHI courses on Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges and Inspection and Maintenance of Ancillary Highway Structures.
Preferred: EIT or P.E. license.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, with adherence to federal guidelines.
Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report.
