Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Senior Construction Manager. The Senior Construction Manager (SCM) manages the on‑site implementation of project deliverables to maintain safety, schedule, budget, design accuracy and QA/CC control. The SCM supports the Sales Force and Project Manager during front‑end estimating through construction. This fully remote position requires 75% travel.
Expected annual salary: $93,750.03 – $137,500.04.
What You’ll Do Provide Construction Management expertise in Electrical, Civil, Structural and Mechanical for large turnkey projects. Lead designers, engineers, project managers and contractors.
Skills And Responsibilities
Contract and Subcontract knowledge
Manage project scope changes
Create and maintain project action item list
Turnkey project experience
Develop and maintain construction schedules
Collaborate with design team for cost‑effective designs
Improve contractor efficiencies
Manage contractor budgets and Safe Work Environment (Job Site Safety Analysis, Rigging Plans, Environmental Risk Planning, Confined Space, Lock & Tag)
Construction estimating
Maintain QA/QC processes
Learn new technologies such as Microgrids
Contingency planning
Support multiple projects
Maintain as‑built documentation and punch‑lists
Daily/weekly progress reporting
Manage subcontractor AIA forms
Document control
Execute large‑scale construction projects with multiple trades
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
BS in civil, structural, mechanical or electrical engineering with ≥10 years Turnkey/Construction experience.
AS in same fields with ≥12 years experience.
Or 15 years experience with Journeyman Certification.
Must reside in KY, TN, NC, SC, GA, or FL; relocation not offered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong computer and organizational skills.
Field construction experience.
Customer affinity.
Organizational collaboration.
Knowledge of NERC/FERC, NESC, NEC, ANSI, NETA.
PMP certified and/or Professional Engineer.
Primavera or Microsoft Project.
OSHA 30 certification.
CPR/First Aid trained.
