Senior Manufacturing Technician - Disassembly 1st shift provides hands-on manufacturing support including assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting, quality verification, and maintenance tasks to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards. Responsibilities
Perform manufacturing technician duties and functions as needed, including assembly, disassembly, and installation of components or equipment with rigid tolerances. Determine operation sequences and methods where specifications are imprecise or vague. Troubleshoot problems with materials/parts, prints, equipment, or product; aid in implementing corrective actions. Confirm quality criteria are inspected, verified, and documented to ensure products meet specifications, tolerances, prints, and customer order requirements; identify and correct defects. Follow standard work procedures and sequence of operations to meet manufacturing standards for safety, quality, cost, and productivity. Perform TPM and scheduled preventive maintenance on assembly/testing tools, equipment, and machines. Practice 6S discipline and comply with all safety rules and guidelines. Safely operate material handling and lifting equipment (e.g., overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, motorized scissor lifts). Assist in advanced training of new employees and help develop training materials. Assist other manufacturing areas as needed and support in troubleshooting and corrective action implementation. Understand and follow Hyosung HICO policies and procedures; be able to discuss the importance of Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies and how they impact work. Education/Special Skills/Experience/Training
High school education or equivalent, plus four years of manufacturing experience, or equivalent education, training and experience. Advanced mechanical/technical and troubleshooting skills. Experience reading manufacturing drawings/specifications, prints, or work instructions. Developed math and geometry skills; knowledge of basic industrial measuring tools. Skilled in the use of various hand and power tools. Basic computer skills with emphasis on MS Office and understanding of computer applications. Physical/Mental Characteristics and Environmental Factors
Ability to safely use hand and power tools and measurement devices; read, write, and follow instructions. Ability to work at elevated heights, stand/walk 6-8 hours per day, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to inspect work and judge quality against standards, drawings, and instructions. Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes; work in outdoor/indoor environments. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally; ability to climb up to 20 feet when required; ability to work in restricted or confined spaces. Willingness and ability to use appropriate PPE (hard hat, safety toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves) as required. Seniority level
