Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance of buildings, including offices, warehouses, garages, production environments, and outdoor spaces.
Operate minor hand and power tools; perform basic lighting, wiring, plumbing, pipe fitting, carpentry, and HVAC troubleshooting tasks.
Execute snow/ice removal with manual and powered equipment.
Use work‑management system Maximo for time reporting and work order tracking.
Support safety and operational excellence; work safely at high elevations, in confined spaces, and under all weather conditions.
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years experience in building trades; ability to read schematic and engineering prints.
Skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
Experience with rotating equipment and mechanical repair (plus).
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license (CDL Class B required for certain assignments).
EPA Universal Technical Certificate required; R410A Technician certification preferred.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, at elevations, and in outdoor weather; medically qualified to wear a respirator.
Licenses & Certifications
Driver’s License (required) with CDL Class B valid for 1 year.
EPA Universal Technical Certificate (1‑year required).
R410A Technician Certification (preferred).
Other certifications (e.g., Citywide Sprinkler, Fireguard, Flammable Liquids, Air Compressor, Standpipe) listed as preferred if 180‑day certificates exist.
Physical Demands Ability to perform extended walking, standing, lifting, bending, and climbing ladders; work in extreme heat, cold, or high‑voltage environments; wear respirator and PPE as required; support emergency response during nights, weekends, and holidays.
