What You’ll Do
Develop detailed and accurate electrical (and mechanical) cost estimates for projects of all sizes — from conceptual design to competitive bids.
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to determine material, labor, and equipment needs.
Prepare and issue RFQs, secure competitive pricing, and build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure accurate and profitable bids.
Use estimating software such as Accubid to produce precise cost calculations.
Identify cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and contribute to estimating best practices.
Mentor junior estimators and support company-wide estimating goals.
What You Bring
3+ years of estimating experience in construction — preferably within automotive, data center, or heavy industrial sectors.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, drawings, and schematics.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Accubid Estimating Software.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Collaborative team player with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
