Responsibilities
CMM operation: Create and execute inspection programs on CMM machines (e.g., using software like PC-DMIS, Calypso, or Polyworks) to measure parts.

Quality control: Perform first-piece and in-process inspections, maintain lot integrity, and ensure First Article Inspection (FAI) packages are completed properly.
Troubleshooting and communication: Identify and report production problems, assist in correcting them, and communicate inspection results with supervisors and other personnel.
Required skills and qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications are beneficial.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
Experience with CMM operation and programming software is often required.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills.
Proficiency with other measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
