Sr Civil (Design) Engineer (Data Centers) – Jacobs

Base Pay Range $132,900.00/yr - $174,450.00/yr
Responsibilities
Conceptualize initial civil design for land/site development.
Prepare grading plans including cut‑and‑fill analysis and earthwork balancing.
Perform hydrology analysis for storm drain systems and design of gravitational wastewater systems.
Develop erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and support permit approvals.
Research local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements and adhere to design and construction standards.
Model stormwater using software such as StormCAD and CivilStorm.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure schedule and technical quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Eight or more years of engineering experience, including extensive project experience.
Strong working knowledge in analyzing and designing medium to large‑scale industrial developments.
Demonstrated proficiency with all design modules of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams.
Quick learner and driven to broaden knowledge base.
Preferred Qualifications
PE certification.
Bluebeam experience.
Experience using Navisworks.
