Discover and purchase new products and check the quality and popularity of those already in the stores.
Negotiate terms of agreements to achieve the best outcome for all parties.
Monitor stock levels and make plans for buying within budget.
Work closely with relevant internal and external parties on activities to build brand awareness and to drive sales for existing products.
Maintain trust and relationships with Japanese suppliers for better product assortment, costs and support for marketing programs.
Attend events, fairs and exhibitions to remain up-to-date with the market trends.
Job requirements Diploma/Degree in Business/Retail Management or its equivalent.
At least 2 years merchandising experience.
Possess good communication and negotiation skills.
