HDR . We are seeking Right of Way professionals to fill positions in Chattanooga, TN, Knoxville, TN, and Jackson, TN. Responsibilities Include

Perform basic principles in reading, writing, retracing, and interpreting legal descriptions, such as parent parcel, metes and bounds, and subdivision. Review and identify title defects and curative requirements; bring these matters to the attention of Project Manager, RES Agent, client, title manager, or underwriter, as appropriate. Prepare project reports and review title document packages. Maintain accurate records of title research activities to ensure appropriate backup information exists. Work closely with and at the direction of team members, including Project Managers, RES Title Agents, RES Tech staff, and RES Agents. Support RES Title Agents with development and training of junior staff by providing insight and instruction regarding task completion and procedures. Recognize when to escalate title issues to RES Agents and Project Managers. Perform additional duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications

Degree or certification related to right of way, title, paralegal, real property law, mortgage lending, or equivalent experience. Prequalified or ability to become prequalified with TDOT within 3 months. Experience closing acquisition parcels and delivering warrants. Current Tennessee notary or ability to obtain one within 3 months. Minimum of 3 years experience in title research from courthouse records and reporting. Required Qualifications

At least 3 years experience with right of way, title, paralegal, real property law, or mortgage lending. Ability to understand real estate documents such as appraisals, environmental reports, surveys, deeds, easements, deeds of trust, mechanics liens, tax liens, judgments, court records, assessments, probates, and other records. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and planning skills. Knowledge of industry regulations is a plus. Familiarity with Database, ProjectWise, and GIS is a plus.
