(USA) Manager II, Process Engineer - Supply Chain
Position Summary. The Manager II, Process Engineer – Supply Chain leads Process Improvement initiatives at Walmart’s Distribution Centers, applying tools such as 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, time and motion studies, and standard work development to eliminate losses and improve operational efficiency. The role focuses on KPI analysis, loss elimination, and process variation reduction, aligning activities with Walmart Performance System (WPS) programs and One Best Way playbooks. Key responsibilities include spearheading loss‑reduction projects, mentoring and training associates, ensuring compliance with company policies and ethics, fostering a culture of belonging and continuous learning, and acting as a trusted advisor for business process improvement.
Responsibilities
Lead Process Improvement tools and methods such as 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time‑motion studies to eliminate losses in a Distribution Center area.
Deliver expected functional area results through KPI analysis, loss elimination, and creation of standard work to reduce process variation.
Assist with review and response of process improvement projects owned by area managers.
Apply new network One Best Way playbooks and provide input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities.
Lead savings projects within area of responsibility, taking loss out of the process.
Promote and support company policies, initiatives, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Assist with tactical deployment of the WPS program methodology and manage project execution of top losses in the functional area.
Support area loss profile analysis and performance metrics, and develop gap analysis to support WPS integration.
Coordinate, complete, and oversee job‑related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and providing recognition.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support the Open Door Policy, and provide guidance on business process execution.
Build high‑performing teams, embrace differences, and create a workplace where associates feel supported and connected.
Act with integrity, maintain the highest standards of ethics and compliance, and promote a regenerative company culture.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field and 3 years’ experience in Process Improvement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of Process or Value Stream Simulation.
Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long‑term savings.
Preferred Qualifications
Process Improvement experience in a Total Performance Management (or related program) environment.
Six Sigma certification.
Base Pay Range: $104,000.00/yr – $156,000.00/yr
