Our client is a rapidly growing full-service sitework subcontractor recognized for its fast mobilization, clean execution, and strong culture of respect, accountability, and results. They specialize in complete site development services, from clearing and grading to utilities and pad-ready site delivery, serving leading general contractors, developers, and public sector clients. With continued growth on the horizon, they’re seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join their high-performing team.
The Opportunity This position blends the analytical precision of estimating with the leadership of project management. The ideal candidate will manage projects from bid through completion — ensuring accurate pricing, successful award, and flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze civil drawings, project plans, and specifications to produce accurate, competitive bids.
Calculate quantities for materials, labor, and equipment.
Obtain and assess quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
Prepare detailed bid proposals and ensure timely submission.
Project Management
Lead awarded projects from pre-construction through closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Collaborate with field teams, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Maintain strong communication with clients, engineers, and vendors.
Monitor project progress, troubleshoot challenges, and implement corrective measures to achieve successful outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in civil construction estimating and/or project management, preferably in sitework, utilities, or grading.
Solid understanding of earthwork calculations, equipment productivity, and construction sequencing.
Proficiency with estimating and take off software, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
