Electronic Test Technician
Paragon is seeking an Electronic Test Technician to join our team in our Fort Worth, Texas office.
Responsibilities
Adhering to a strict quality control program (NQA1)
Perform functional testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide variety of complex electronic components
Design, fabricate and implement test set‑ups to meet testing requirements
Perform failure analysis of various components
Perform t, form, and function comparison analysis of replacement components
Dedication/qualification of commercially available components for safety‑related applications in nuclear utilities
Testing and troubleshooting with digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, wave generators and assorted test equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks
Additional duties and tasks assigned by management
Desired Skills
Perform builds and repairs independently, familiar with the tools, MTE and equipment to be employed and have demonstrated proficiency in their use
Perform component‑level repairs
Demonstrate capabilities in basic fabrication techniques including resistance testing, cabling, and skills with manufacturing tools
Perform repairs on circuit boards
IPC Certification
Qualifications
5 years of prior experience in manufacturing testing required (military experience accepted)
Able to communicate effectively across all functions of the organization
A high attention to detail with good documentation skills, and able to write legibly
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Follow safety procedures
Has time management, organization, analytical and problem‑solving skills
Proficient in basic computer skills (file organization, email, etc.)
Proficiency in using meters, variacs, power supplies, megger, hi‑pot, o‑scope, soldering tools, and calipers
Being present, in the moment with a questioning attitude while being persistent with finding solutions
A positive attitude that is passionate about assembly and has commitment to producing high‑quality products
