Posted Monday, September 15, 2025 at 4:00 AM The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently achieved. This role leads and develops a team of production associates and line leads, fostering engagement, accountability, and strict adherence to HACCP, GMP, FDA, and BRC requirements. This is a hands-on role, actively monitoring product quality, coordinating machinery maintenance needs, and implementing solutions that drive operational excellence, efficiency, and team development. The 2nd shift hours are ~2:40pm - ~10:50pm What You Will Do At Acme: Ensure accurate daily reporting in SAP, ERP, and WMS to track performance, yields, and production metrics. Facilitate daily huddles and regular team meetings to align on safety (OSHA), quality, food safety, and production goals. Communicate daily and weekly plans, goals, procedural changes, and expectations with line leads and associates. Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, FDA, BRC, and company-specific food safety and quality requirements. Maintain proper staffing levels to meet production schedules while maximizing efficiency. Monitor and verify product quality standards, addressing issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Oversee equipment functionality, report errors, and coordinate timely maintenance solutions. Optimize resources to improve OEE, reduce waste, and minimize downtime. Apply and enforce strict food safety protocols, including sanitation, hygiene, PPE, and equipment cleaning. Lead, coach, and engage production associates through feedback, recognition, and corrective action when needed. Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and accountability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles to enhance processes and streamline workflows. Supervisory Responsibilities:

Actively participate in hiring, onboarding, and training production associates in alignment with company policies, procedures, and culture, while fostering strong employee engagement and commitment to customer service. Provide continuous coaching, team building, and performance feedback, including written reviews for line leads and associates. Partner with the Production Manager/GM and People Team to support hiring decisions and workforce planning. Conduct performance assessments for temporary labor during evaluation periods. Address and resolve workplace conflicts promptly and fairly, applying coaching and problem-solving techniques to sustain a positive, productive environment. Your Education & Experience:

BA / B.S. Food Science, Business or related field is preferred. 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing, storage, or handling industry. 1+ years’ experience directing and coordinating the activities of food production personnel. Experience working within an HACCP, GMP, FDS, BRC regulated facility preferred. Experience in data entry and production software systems (e.g. M3, CAT2, or similar ERP/QC platforms). Strong understanding of production workflows, food safety protocols, and quality controls systems. Experience leading or supporting lean/continuous improvement initiatives preferred. Proven experience driving change through process improvements and implementation. Strong ability to coach, develop, and engage team members while encouraging input and ideas for positive change. Comfortable working in cold temperature environments. Flexibility to work an unusual schedule, including Sundays and early mornings, as needed. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proactive, accountable, and driven with a positive “can-do” attitude. Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and sound decision-making. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) or equivalent tools for reporting and scheduling. Solid understanding of food safety requirements, with the ability to review and verify HACCP, GMP, and quality control documentation for accuracy. Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moderate level of noise due to the impact of frozen fish on metal transfer chute and forklift usage; earplugs are required. Exposure to a cold working environment; temperatures between 38-45 degrees Fahrenheit. Frequent contact with frozen products and exposure in freezers with below zero temperatures; protective personal equipment provided. Health & Safety Requirements:
