Position Overview The G37 TREX Certification and Evaluation Senior Military Operations Analyst Space Control Planning Team (SCPT) and Space Control Planner will assist in providing Certification and Evaluation Support for the USASMDC G37 Training, Readiness, and Exercise Division (G37 TREX) mission.
Essential Job Functions
Serve as a Certification and Evaluation Support Specialist for SCPT and SC. Assess SCPT and SC elements located at Fort Carson, CO, and at forward locations.
Coordinate within the command and across the joint Space Control community to share and learn the latest technical equipment, best practices, and current/developing TTPs to incorporate into the standardization and training program.
Plan, resource, and conduct certification assessments for SCPTs and SC teams.
Support the USASMDC Space Range planning, resourcing, and execution.
Support certifications and certification events, including brigade external evaluations (EXEVALs), by developing master scenario event lists (MSELs) and exercise development products when requested and coordinated through the G3 TREX.
Conduct military decision making process (MDMP), briefings, and professional writing for USASMDC space mission areas.
Plan, develop, and prepare recommendations to update and revise the Command’s Standards & Evaluations Program focusing on the SCPT and SC mission areas, and support additional USASMDC space mission areas.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have TS/SCI clearance.
Must have 5+ years space control planning and/or operator experience, space control education including Army Space Control Planner course (ASCP), and other applicable army and joint targeting and space control courses.
Must be familiar with space control planning and space operations software.
Must possess working knowledge of space control planning and space targeting, general space operations equipment operation, and space operations software applications used by the teams, as well as fundamentals of space operations and how space enables the Warfighter.
Must have experience with space staff operations and space exercise support.
Must have brigade or above level staff experience, including orders production, tier 1 level exercise planning, and staff processes.
Must have professional experience in Army writing, briefing, and presentations.
Minimum education: bachelor’s degree, and advanced military education such as Non-Commissioned Officer Education (NCOEs), battle staff, or Officer Education System (OES).
