Candidate Skills and Experience
Consistent track record of leading large teams, handling multiple projects, and driving organizational change through learning initiatives
Deep understanding of learning principles, instructional design, digital learning platforms, and blended learning methodologies
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e‑learning development tools
Knowledge of compliance training, technical training, and soft skills development
Strong analytical skills to assess training efficiency and organizational impact
Key Relationships Key relationships include senior leadership, quality, compliance and regulatory, HR, site/business units, leaders, training, IT, and supplier/service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for FM training, collaborating with SMEs to identify training needs and develop curricula
Lead the creation and ongoing development of training materials, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and industry best practices
Implement processes for training delivery, including uploading content, scheduling sessions, and managing logistics
Conduct regular reviews of training materials to ensure continuous improvement and reflection of organizational updates
Develop and implement procedures for the different E&PS CoE programs
Analyze training completion data and feedback to develop improvement strategies and mitigate risks
Engage with enabling functions and relevant SMEs to define training requirements/methodologies beyond FM-specific content, and work with internal stakeholders to ensure training aligns with operational needs and compliance standards
Regularly update training curricula, content, and records to reflect new standards, technologies, and organizational changes
Partner with FM leads and service providers to coordinate training initiatives aligned with organizational goals
Communicate training requirements and updates to all relevant stakeholders
Promote a learning-oriented culture by encouraging participation and ongoing development
Support onboarding and continuous professional growth initiatives
Develop and implement lessons learned sharing platforms and programs to cultivate knowledge exchange and operational improvements
Analyze training outcomes and feedback to refine programs and system functionalities
Education
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Learning & Development, Human Resources, or related field
Required Experience and Skills
Minimum 8‑10 years of experience in business process and training management development and execution within a regulated environment
Consistent track record on designing and implementing enterprise-wide learning strategies aligned with organizational goals, especially within regulated environments
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards, including cGMP, regulatory compliance, quality systems, and risk mitigation related to training programs
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders to drive learning initiatives
Skilled in leading organizational change, embedding learning into operational and cultural transformations, process optimization, and driving a culture of compliance and operational excellence
Expertise in learning principles, e‑learning platforms, LMS management, and blended learning methodologies
Ability to analyze learning metrics, assess return on investment, and continuously improve programs based on data insights
Strong organizational skills to lead multiple initiatives and timelines
Outstanding interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement, presentations, and influencing at senior levels
Skilled in conducting risk assessments, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Preferred Skills and Experience
Familiarity with technical and operational aspects of facilities, maintenance, and engineering within pharmaceutical environment
Knowledge of cGMP & regulatory audits: hands‑on experience supporting compliance training and audits in a regulated environment
Proven track record to lead external training vendors, consultants, and technology providers
Experience in fostering continuous learning culture and leading organizational development initiatives
Certifications such as CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance), SHRM‑SCP, or specific pharma/regulated industry certifications
Familiarity with the latest learning technologies, virtual training tools, and digital collaboration platforms
Other Requirements
Language requirements – English fluency (oral & written)
Up to 25% of national and/or international travel required
Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) preferred

Pay Transparency Anticipated base pay range for this position is: $120,000‑$207,000. For the Bay Area, the salary for this position is $138,000 to $238,050. The company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following company-sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
Employees may be eligible to participate in the company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
