Position Summary

The Operations Manager, MRO Services plays a key role in ensuring our maintenance operations run safely, efficiently, and with the same care and attention to detail that define the Clay Lacy experience. This role leads our dedicated maintenance team at the Van Nuys facility, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities Responsible for the Maintenance Department and all technical personnel along with all Operations conducted by the 145 Repair Station by;
Overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance department
Ensures and monitors quality of work performed by all maintenance employees
Assists in developing capital and operating budgets.
Ensures all aircraft maintenance is scheduled and completed timely and efficiently
Ensure adequate resources are available to:
a. Comply with Federal, State and Local Regulations
b. Maintain trained staffing levels commensurate with operations conducted
c. Acquire and maintain adequate:
i. Housing
ii. Material
iii. Equipment/Tooling
iv. Technical Data
Solicits feedback from staff for development of new concepts regarding procedures, facility improvements, processes, and information to ensure customer satisfaction and business goals are met.
Responsible for and has the authority over all Repair Station operations that are conducted in compliance with 14 CFR Part 145.
Duties include ensuring that Repair Station personnel follow the regulations
Monitors and maintains the budget for manpower requirements.
Reviews applications, interviews candidates, and approves the hiring of technicians and support staff as needed
May participate and assist with Customer Project Manager functions and duties through the initial growth phase.
Will be required to perform hands on maintenance on managed and transient aircraft through the initial growth phase
Will be required to schedule and plan maintenance for managed and transient aircraft.
May delegate all duties assigned. However, such delegation does not relieve overall responsibilities.

Meet budgeted EBITDA and Gross Margin for Aircraft Maintenance business line

Skills and Abilities
Develop and implement a development plan to sustain growth and profitability
Project Planning and Pipeline Management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to establish sound business relationships with business jet OEM's
Assist with CLA strategic planning and execution
Required Education & Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of MRO management with a business aviation company.
Minimum of five(5) years of experience in corporate aviation maintenance.
Must have six (6) months supervisory experience.
Preferred Education & Experience
Bachelor Degree in Business or Aviation Management preferred
Must pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening and Background Check
