Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr This range is provided by Sam's Club. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Position Summary: Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. You will wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available. You may juggle several tasks in a short time while helping members with bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. Be a part of the team

Ensure high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area Keep shelves clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food Maintain the sales floor according to company policies and procedures by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area Additional responsibilities

Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates; communicate effectively with the team; be flexible to work in other areas Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future productions and mass productions; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate and sanitize equipment Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality Be an Owner: Drive area performance; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; reduce waste; assist customers per policies Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products; demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; apply open door policy in daily work Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; communicate progress and address improvement opportunities Benefits: Health benefits (medical, vision, dental); 401(k), stock purchase, company-paid life insurance; PTO and other leave benefits; eligibility for Live Better U education program.
